Branding and Product Design
The Ask

The Business and Marketing course at the University of West Alabama assigned the creation and branding of a fictional enterprise, encompassing an extensive project that combined in-depth research, brand development, marketing approaches, financial analysis, and operational strategies.
The Brand
Hope Drop is an online retail store that offers a variety of products including t-shirts, hats, bookbags, lanyards, and more. The website is powered by Shopify and seamlessly integrated with the print-on-demand service, Printful.com. This integration enables customers to place orders directly on the Hope Drop site, after which Printful takes care of printing and shipping. Orders are typically shipped within three to five days from the time of purchase.
The Opportunity
The primary target audience for Hope Drop is teenagers ranging from age eleven to nineteen. This includes all genders, races, and religions. Adolescents in this age range are easily influenced by the media, peers, and the adults around them. In addition to changing hormones, teens often fear the responsibilities of growing up. This can cause mental health issues in many teens. Another issue facing teenagers is bullying. Hope Drop strives to create a positive outlook for all teens to help reduce bullying of peers.
The Approach
Marketing
Expanding Brand
Digital & Physical Packaging
The designs are created by a talented mother and daughter duo, ensuring a unique and relevant touch. Thanks to the online platform, there is no need for maintaining inventory. Production is handled by a print-on-demand service, and random quality assurance checks will be conducted to guarantee that the products meet brand standards.
