History
Founded in 1977, the Marine Conservation Society is the leading marine charity in the United Kingdom. The organization was created by concerned scientists, divers, and environmentalists who did not want to see the continued devastation of marine habitats and wildlife.
Since its start, King Charles III has had a role in the creation and continued work done by the MCS. His patronage is only the beginning of the influencer involved with the organization. Ocean ambassadors include photographers, scientists, writers, athletes, and many others.
